Rutschenfelsen

If you want to gain a distinctive impression of the Swabian Alb, you can walk to the viewpoint of the Rutschenfelsen. The view from the Albkante as it slopes to the valley below and the distant views of castle ruins Teck, Hohenneuffen and Hohenurach is a unique experience. Here you can rest on a comfortable bench and enjoy the peace.

Hanner Felsen (Hanner rock)

The Hanner cliffs rise southwest of Bad Urach. They are divided into three different rock faces: the front, middle and back Hannerfels. The Hanner Rocks offer great expansive views: The town lies below you in the Erms valley, the fortress ruin of Hohenurach to your left is a stone’s throw away and opposite the ridge of the Eichhalde is in view.

Kunstmühlefelsen

The rock faces of the Kunstmühlen cliffs offer a magnificent view over the city, the hilly landscape of the Swabian Alb and the upper Erms valley. The Kunstmühlefels (684 m) lies on a mountain nose, it takes its name from the Kunstmühle (Art mill) located in the Seeburg valley. Of course, the "art" mill has nothing to do with art, she got this name because of her "artificial" drive.
